We’re Hazen and Sheela Hackett—the husband-and-wife team behind Legacy Furniture. Born and raised in Colorado, we’ve always felt a deep connection to nature and craftsmanship. What started as a dream in our garage has grown into a full-time family business with a showroom in Grand Junction, where we now get to share our passion for woodworking with the community we love.

From the beginning, our mission has been simple: to create meaningful, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces that last a lifetime. Every table, bar top, and custom creation is made with care—from sourcing salvaged wood locally to mixing custom epoxy pours and hand-finishing each piece ourselves. We don’t outsource anything—it’s just the two of us bringing your vision to life.

Building Legacy Furniture hasn’t been easy. It meant long nights, early mornings, and raising two daughters along the way. But every step has been worth it, and we’re proud of what we’ve created—not just in our work, but in the relationships we’ve built with our clients.
